Add Knowledge - URLs, PDFs and text documents

You can add individual URLs, PDFs, or text documents to the Hotel AI, which will be read and added to the knowledge base.

Prerequisite

You have activated the GPT AI for your hotel.

Where can you configure it?

1. Access AI Content

  • Move the mouse over the left side menu.
  • Click on "AI Content" to access content management.

2. Open URL and PDF Management

3. Add New Content

  • To add a PDF file or a webpage, click on the "Add Content" button.

4. Insert Link or File

A new window will open with the following options:

  • Add Link: Enter the desired URL in the first input field.
  • Upload PDF: Click on the "Upload File" button to select and upload a file from your computer.

5. Adjust Extraction Frequency and Data Source (Optional)

  • If you want to adjust the frequency and type of data extraction from the source, click on the "Change" button on the right side.
  • Define how often the data should be read from the source.

Example: If it is a weekly updated menu, you can set the extraction frequency to "daily".

Done! The content has been successfully added and configured.

Important Notes:

  • Add knowledge in only one language. The AI will translate it into the other available languages.
  • Only add pages that provide value to (potential) hotel guests—quality over quantity.
  • To ensure optimal AI performance, avoid overloading it with information or feeding it contradictory details.
  • Images and maps cannot be extracted!

Important Notes Specifically for URLs:

  • Only add individual URLs. It is not sufficient to enter the main website address (e.g., https://www.hotel.com).
  • Keep in mind that the AI cannot click. This means it will only extract content from the specified URL, not any information hidden behind buttons.
  • Only add URLs containing content that you control and that legally belongs to your hotel.
