Previously, we advised using UTM parameters for tracking. Recently, however, Google has changed the evaluation of UTM parameters so that reliable tracking of e-commerce sales via chatbot UTM parameters is no longer possible.

How can an analysis be set up in Google Analytics?


There is no generally valid statement on this, as e-commerce tracking in Google Analytics can be set up differently.

However, the general procedure remains the same:

  • Create a custom report
  • Filter the sales according to the existence of the URL parameter ref=dialogshift
