WhatsApp application process (en)

The deployment of DialogShift Chatbots & Livechat in WhatsApp require several steps involving the hotel chain/hotel, DialogShift, infrastructure service provider "tyntec" and WhatsApp (represented by Facebook, Inc.).

1) Initially we need the following basic information:

2) In the next step, DialogShift sets up the WhatsApp profile and sends the information to Facebook.

3) You then need to complete the verification process for your business.

Go to the Facebook Business Security Centre and click Start Verification in the Business Verification section (if you are not already verified). Once these steps are complete, Facebook/WhatsApp will verify the brand (Brand in Verification status) and the ad name (Ad Name Verification status) - no action is required from you here.

4) Verification of the WhatsApp phone number

When both have been approved (Ready for activation status), Facebook/WhatsApp will trigger the verification code to your chosen WhatsApp number. The verification code should be sent to onboarding@tyntec.com. If the number is not SMS enabled, you would need to set up a time for the verification call to be made. A verification SMS does not need to be terminated.

5) Chatbot Activation & Go-Live

Finally, after the code has been sent to tyntec, DialogShift will take the final steps to go live.
